VALERIE  BLENCOWE

Valerie Blencowe was born in the UK and lives in London.  Her first encounter with the Portuguese language was on a visit to South America which, instead of an intended three-month trip through Peru, Bolivia and Argentina, turned into a year-long journey around Brazil.

Valerie holds the Institute of Linguists’ Diploma in Translation and is a freelance translator and travel writer/photographer.
